We are not sure what happened on Thursday night, but the skin on both sides of her tail was ripped back, exposing bone and tendons. Probably trapped it somewhere and caused the damage freeing herself.
I apologise to all of fox-kind for once again blaming them first off;
anyways, shes getting better and is off to the vet again tomorrow.
Found this dragonfly on the ground the other day and allowed it to crawl on my fingers and I placed it in this tree. Doubtful that it could survive with such a wing. It might be a widow skimmer, but will have to look into it further. (IMG_5075)

A tornado
tracked from 2.7 miles northeast of benton to 2.2 miles northwest of
bryant. This included the area in and around the hurricane lake
mobile home park. The path length was 2.7 miles long. The tornado
has been rated an ef2 on the enhanced fujita scale.
A local car dealership sustained building and vehicle damage. Roof
damage was noted to a number of homes in the area. At the mobile
home park...Many of the homes were either damaged or destroyed.
Numerous trees and power lines were also downed.

This is a closer shot of what is shown in Wetlands Damage #22. This is an indication of the size of trees that were removed and dragged off to another location by the Division of Forestry. See the big trunks ground into the mud?
All damage photographed is on my property. It was done without my consent by the DOF as a FREE service to my neighbors. Many of the larger trees were quickly dragged off by the DOF to a remote location behind a gate that I could not access. Even after telling the DOF to get off my property, they continued to bulldoze resulting in some of the worst damage that was done that day. This is wetlands. This work was done with no permit. No one has paid for this damage.
