My passenger side mirror was no match for the side of my garage door. It must have been closer than it appeared because I just watched it happen in the mirror. Haha. HMM! I’ll be spending mine getting my mirror repaired. At least it provided subject matter for this week’s theme.

Cracks in several places like through the boat and behind the "C" better seen in closer views

There are so many different sides to an individual, that when we discover a new one it can become an attachment. And when we fear we lose the chance to continue those parts of us that made us feel so alive and exalted we can continue holding on to those parts we believe are now in ruins. We are a conglomeration of joys, pains, highs and lows. It registers in our body language, in the way we present or protect our expressions and vulnerabilities. We carry around scars that remind us that we are constantly changing and evolving. But you can see in some people that they hold on so very tightly to those painful pasts that it’s hard for them to live in the present and evolve into the future. Damaged. So many are afraid to ask for help but it doesn’t take much to offer it and listen to their stories. You may just help them see how beautiful they have become from their life experiences.

Helping and inspiring others is the one effective approach that I’ve been using personally to conquer my own scars and losses.

Forgive me for enhancing just this one, but it was damaged and needed some attention.

I lived with my mother back then and was still quite shy. I do remember buying that velvet straight skirt in M&S and loved it so much.

You are damaged and broken and unhinged but so are shooting stars and comets. Life is a painting, and you are the artist...your attitude is like a box of crayons that color your world. The whole point is to live life and be - to use all the colors in the crayon box
