My first visit to see the wonderous buses of Paisley came at the end of the 1970s courtesy of a BR 'Merrymaker'. I joined the train at Kidsgrove and alighted at Balloch pier. With only a few hours to kill at my destination, time was of the essence so the next service train back to Glasgow, then one out the Paisley was caught. By 1979, many of the independents had disappeared, but the town could still boast Grahams and Mc Gills plus Patons and Cunninghams, the latter two who were just about to throw in the towel. Besides the independents there was the once mighty Western Scottish, a fleet who's buses could be seen in both maroon and cream plus semi-coaches in black and white... the majority of which looked very tidy. Here a 1968 Alexander 'D type' bodied Daimler Fleetline JAG 501F loads for Gallowhill in Gauze Street, the town's main thoroughfare.

The prototype Daimler Fleetline 7000HP saw out its life in the smart blue and cream colours of Blue Bus of Willington, but was to meet an unfortunate end when that operator's garage burned to the ground. On March 15th 1968 the bus is shown leaving Derby's iconic bus station.

Otrębusy, Muzeum Motoryzacji i Techniki
The Automotive and Technology Museum is located in Otrebusy, a little town just outside of Warsaw. The museum was established in 1995 and is a private venture of automotive enthusiasts. At this time, it is the home of around 300 old cars, motorbikes, trucks, and armored vehicles. It is the one of the largest museum of its kind in Europe.
It is a not typical museum, but it is definitely worth to see a rich collections of vintage cars including a ford mustang 1970, mercedes benz pullman 1936, bmw dixi. We will also find here the cars driven once by such stars as - Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley, and also the cars, which served the communist leaders, such as a Stalin's ZIS convertible, pink Buick Skylark once owned by Cyrankiewicz (prime minister of the People's Republic of Poland between 1947 and 1952), or Austin Six – the owner of which was Bierut (President of the People's Republic of Poland after Word War II). It is worth to see also the oldest car in Poland, the German J.A.G. of 1897. The museum rented some cars for events, a wedding for example.

This model is an EFE Daimler Fleetline with a EFE AEC Renown top deck that ive graffted together to produce a Roe body, the whole model was compleatley stripped down to bare metal.
The top deck had to be extended as the Renown is slightly shorter than the EFE Fleetline lower deck shell, also the upper deck seating had to be remodeled too.
It would apear to be a Doncaster Transport vehicle but ive produced her under the PTE ownership Aprill 1974 onwards, compleate with typical Doncaster "off centre" ads and service infamation stickers on the upper deck windows....
