Soldiers of the Dagger Brigade participated in Dagger University, which partner’s professors and graduate teaching assistants from Kansas State University in providing informative lectures to attendees at Fort Riley, Kansas September 3, 2015. The purpose of the lectures is to provide a shared understanding of the Middle East through the lecture presentations and the first hand experiences of the presenters. This Dagger is made from a 14" course cut soft metal file. For use on aluminum, lead, etc.
The handle is simulated black pearl.
The guard and pommel are aluminum with brass pins. This was, by far, the most difficult to make, due to having to keep it symmetrical. Countless hours of work went into this one. (My favorite)
A few folks asked for the reverse view of my German Officers dagger. Here it is. The numbering below the obvious RZ over M lettering is"M7/116". What does it all mean. Do you think this is the answer?
Such an array of fabulous caterpillars to identify. It's like a daily treasure hunt when I'm out searching for these little treasures :)
