The best match for this Dagger Moth appears to be Pleasant Dagger Moth (Acronicta laetifica). Plainsboro Preserve.
Dagger on the left rubble on the right. The outlines (when placed on top of each other) are identical.

This big, yellow fuzzball is the caterpillar of an American dagger moth (Acronicta americana). It was about two and a half inches long. Seen along the shore of Prospect Park Lake.
