MUMMY'S KISS SACRIFICIAL DAGGER
I got this metal dagger years ago at a Renaissance fair because of the nice Egyptian motif carved on the knives' handle and metal scabbard. Years later saw it popping up on a few low budget films including a softcore porn (don't ask) titled THE MUMMY'S KISS. Since then I have also seen it used on an episode of a Star Trek fan production. It seems this little prop will continue to build its own notoriety with time.
I kinda missed taking pictures of my dolls.
I rewigged dagger back to blonde, i straightened rejeenah's hair.
i didnt change the boys' clothes (especially Johann), ever again. XD

I love this one. I may, in the end, decide to keep her. There's something about the curves that makes me think of the hips on fertility goddesses, though, of course, she's thin as a dagger and wouldn't be so good at childbearing. She's just gorgeous, though.
I get bored of making pendants sometimes- its such a small piece of metal there's very little to do, really, Do the other day I took piece about 4 inches square, and just started folding and hammering, and unfolding and pulling things apart, and then when I was satisfied, I started cutting it where things looked complete. These are the best of the lot.

Well, I was on Dagger Springs Road (Rt 622) in Botetourt County, VA.
I had turned off US 220 at a place called Gala, where the road loops around and comes back out on the main highway. But as I watched the clouds start to thicken, I decided to go where the sun was still shining, and thus headed up the Mill Creek Valley. It was very serendipitous to come across this ice formation coming out of the hillside. I could also test my skill at figuring out exposures in the shade. And focus gauging could be tested as well.
No adjustments, cropped.
The dagger board is made up of a bit of 4*2 Oregon, ripped down to 22mm strips then biscuit joined to make the wide board I need. The curved bits at the top provide a finger grip and stop the board sliding all the way through the trunk.
