TJ is acting very odd and I'm scared so I figured I better post these now incase I get really bad news.
Our newer addition...Miss Missy, the magical terrier, is camping with us at Salmon La Sac. We adopted her from the Wenatchee Shelter in Washington State. We saw her first on Petfinders.com.. Wenatchee was one shelter that came to Seattle for a pet adoption fair. They brought her. It was fate! She had been abandoned twice before she was taken there.

My roommate's friends brought over their gentle dogs on their way to travel to fun places this weekend.
Since TJ's picture won for November, to be fair Teddy has to get one more month. (Warning, the August/Cover vote this weekend will be the hardest of all) Please help me choose between these five photos, because I just can't decide. :)

I used window light and a classic Nikon lens (the Nikon 105mm f/2.5...several decades old!) to capture this photo of MJ relaxing inside our apartment!
A shot from 2008 when the boys first got some attention from all of you and they still had their fur. In those days we still lived in a house with a patio!
Now that they're gone, it feels like a lifetime ago. I really hope none of you ever outlive your kids -human or otherwise, it sucks.
Fighting the urge to adopt 2 more... (girls for sure this time)....fighting...hard.... (but so many dogs on death row)...still...fighting...hard....

How happy is he?!?! Hallie and Alan are my next door neighbors who took care of the Teej while I was driving around the country. He was so happy to see them again!! I'm almost done processing the photos from all 5 trips and you can find them by clicking here.
