i need to style his wig... it's just a normal tiny BJD wig from like monique or kemper or similar? but i can't figure out how to straighten it or make the curls go in less directions haha .... boiling water did nothing.

they look pretty weird together but i figured if i make a happy headsculpt but still keep the sad one, i should make the sad one look sort of how i imagine spymaster when he’s not feeling well. so i overpainted my previous spymaster head in that way.
now i need to sealer them and sculpt their hairs after the paint and sealers dry.
i might do the removable hair sculpts but not sure yet.
this is how i paint for myself, i cannot paint complex things for other doll people because stuff happens along the way and if it’s for me i can decide if i want it or not but for other people i would freak the fk out, basically

there was a scene in the new-ish dw book I AM THE MASTER, in the story "The Master and Margarita", where Dhawan!M was stuck on earth during the 70s in USSR and he was singing folksongs with a guitar while mindcontrolling ppl...
i bet there were times when he accidentally sang songs from the future and had to pretend they were his own ;) hence SINGER-SONGWRITER for ToySunday
had the headsculpt for like... 5yrs maybe? just finally got around to painting him!
he's wearing the shoes and trousers from BCS Sherlock and the jacket of a "chinese suit" from ebay. i think it's one of the school uniforms? anyway with the buttons removed and the front tacked closed it's just about perfect.
i forget who his gloved hands are from, but i like these ones, they're very dramatic :D

I did a little customizing to this Hot Toys body! It's meant for a Chris Hemsworth/Thor head sculpt but that will also need a little bit of adjusting!

Re-bodied Demitri on this WorldBox AT031 1/6 Scale Tattoo Body. The tattoo's are ideal to represent his Russian heritage. The detailing of the tattoo work is incredible.
These are customized action figures of the MU ( Marvel Universe) /1:18 scale of the X-men in their 90s era outfits by Jim Lee, featuring the blue and gold strike teams with Professor X.
I did a little customizing to this Hot Toys body! It's meant for a Chris Hemsworth/Thor head sculpt but that will also need a little bit of adjusting!
I'm starting a new project customizing a BVS Superman action figure! The main reason for this is simple! Although I really like the BVS figure as a show piece also wanted to add a figure to my collection to be used in doll and action figure comics and stories! The BVS Superman however is very bulky and posing is limited! My plan is to customize a figure that falls somewhere between the MOS Superman and the BVS Superman! This may be a complete failure but I hope to at least learn some things from this process! The first step was to remove the suit and take a look at the body structure!
So basically, this figure uses the MOS body with added prosthetic pieces on the thighs and lats! The body is also painted silver! The figures ankles and foot pegs are shorter! Many complained about the height of the MOS figure because he wasn't compatible with other Hot Toys 1/6th figures!
The suit is made of a pliable synthetic material that is fairly elastic and fits the figure like a glove! It's also somewhat sheer so that the silver body beneath can be seen giving the suit a kind of sheen!
I'll continue chronicling my progress as I go and hopefully I won't completely embarrass myself with a big fat fail!
