I am fortunate enough to be an "advanced reader," which means I receive books before they hit the shelves in the hopes that I'll read and review them on my website.
When Zondervan sent this one for my review I was intrigued by the back cover, which asks questions like:
* Did the Church suppress ancient, non-Biblical documents that paint a more accurate picture of Jesus than the four Gospels?
* Did the church distort the truth about Jesus by tampering with early New Testament copies?
* Do new insights and explanations finally disprove the Resurrection?
* Have fresh arguments disqualified Jesus from being the Messiah?
* Did Christianity steal its core ideas from earlier mythology?
I can hardly wait to write a review of this book, it's been a great read so far!

My husband bought a Canon Rebel T5 for my birthday as this was the last "big gift" he will be able to get for me for a few years since he will be attending law school. However he went a little bit overboard and also purchased all these other things too. Not pictured: a super nice tripod.
