May 29, 2023 - "The skyline of downtown Columbus has been transformed with this monumental artwork by internationally recognized sculptor Janet Echelman. "Current" is a stunning, ephemeral, sky-high sculpture that will inspire wonder and imagination in all who see it. As it dances gracefully in the wind, this awe-inspiring work of art will become an emblem of Columbus’ culture and innovation.
The design and installation of "Current" was funded by Jeff Edwards. He has graciously donated the work to the Museum. We will oversee the care and maintenance of the sculpture as part of our permanent collection." Previous description of "Current" from a Facebook post by the Columbus Museum of Art.

i love reading books. mostly fiction.. romantic comedy types.. heh. i'd like think once im reading a book, im like a part of their story.. like an outsider looking on the inside, secretly. heheh. i was thinking of making somewhat like a book review blog of the books ive read but ive been putting it off & i dont think i'll be going ahead with that idea. yet again, procrastination wins! haha.

I saw the buoys and assumed there were supposed to be two lines of them marking the outsides of the channel. But nope. And I actively looked at this sign multiple times before I actually went in the water. After I was rescued from the rip current, I had to go back *again* and legit study it to figure out what I got wrong. Then that night as I was trying and failing to sleep, I was re-designing this sign and thinking about contacting the hotels about it.
