Magic Curls Doll from 1982.
She came with the Magic Mist, it is a powder to mix with water and when you wash her hair with the mixture the hair turns straight, then if washed only with water the hair turns curly again. Tons of fun when you are little (when your mum allows you to play with water)
My Magic Curls has straightened hair and looks fabulous ! She still has little curls on the end of her hair but her usual afro style is changed. I love her original hairstyle more but my doll was played with and looks better like this. If I get one in mint condition I would't play with her hair at all ...
She is dressed in adorable vintage looking hand-made dress my friend Linda gave me time ago. I usually redress my repros in that but how awesome it fits superstars too !
Most dolls that I have look more beautiful in pictures than in real life. Paprika is ten times cuter in person.
I added curls to Aria's auburn wig and I gave it a good style with a razor! Personally, I like this look alot better for her character.
To tell you the truth I had a tough time trying to get the ends of the curls to behave but, in the end, I think it turned out fine.
I style my hair every day so I'm surprised how much i stuggled :p All in all, it was a great learning experience^_^
I'm still on the fence about her reddish locks however...most of the time the wig photographs really red...user error maybe? ^_^
I was feeling kind of moody and sullen today. A little black to be honest. In just a few days, it will be 2 years since I lost my mother. I guess she has been on my mind a lot lately. I tried to find a way to get that out and record it. The smoke gives off kind of a lonely feeling to me. I guess it kind of tells what I was feeling.

Perfect conditions for lightpainting with a very long exposure @ Nth Curl Curl.
This shot I used a blue gel on torch for the foreground rocks & a orange gel
on the monument then let the camera go for near 20 minutes.
Single shot straight from the camera with a little noise reduction done.

Took this with an old m42 Takumar 50mm f1.4 lens. I also used several m42 extension tubes to get in close. Turned out to have a much thinner depth of field than I was hoping for but I'm happy with the final result.
