Curl Curl beach on the first day of winter.
I walked from the southern end up to the northern end, taking pix all the way.
By then the pretty light effects had dissipated, and it had just turned into an ordinary overcast day. So i put my camera away, shed my joggers and socks, and paddled my way back to the southern end of the beach. The water was actually quite a pleasant temperature!
w00t! I found a curl in my hair today. Could it mean that my hair might stop been stick-straight? My brother's hair turned curly as he got older.
This makes me wish that I'm not waiting for my birthday to start my 365 project. (My birthday is June 3rd.)
Also, because I've decided to do the 365 Self-portrait thing, I'm abandoning the Once a Day project. I "officially" stopped on my 100th photo (I love round numbers), but I can't seem to stop taking photos all the time.

when I was a teenager, back in the day, those of us who have hair with a mind of its own and few resources, would resort to taping our hair to either straighten or curl it.
A "vertorama" stitched from several images showing the roclk patterns, rock pool, ocean and sky in the one image.
C demonstrates her ability to mimic other wide-eyed animals with her freaky curls... looks like one of those butterflies designed to look like an owl's face or what-not.
We had to make a photograph with only paper on the image. It also had to contain diffrent kinds of shadows.
