Macro Mondays Theme: Just White Paper

 

Used my LED torch to light the inside of the curled paper and to create the shadows.

First light at Curl Curl.

 

The rock shelf at Curl Curl has a quite unique undulating texture, with lots of swirls and potholes, These interesting ridges picked up the first glow of sunlight.

Soft tender young curls on the baby cycad fern in the middle of an otherwise spiky plant. In fact, the non-baby cycad leaves were defending the young ones against me and my camera by jabbing sharp pointy bits into me. Totally worth it.
