Getting in a little playtime. Santa Cruz, California.

Big waves breaking yesterday.

Island of Molokai

capturing of an old petal on a lily...

So many beautiful flowers in Disneyland.

Heading from Oxen Craig to Craigshannoch, we came across this little cornice. Winds on top of Bennachie blow the snow drifts into interesting shapes like this cornice. When these overhang higher cliff edges care must be taken as what appears to be solid ground can just be snow which can collapse if too much weight is applied, one of the dangers of winter walking. This one's fine though, it's small and low.

The fern tip was reaching out over a drop down to the river. I wish I could have gotten a little closer, but like the bokeh effect.

An old one from this wonderful place called "Follow your Bliss"

Curls from this spectacular slow worm (Anguis fragilis) and joy all mine from seeing this magnificent legless lizard when I lifted a black membrane after yesterday’s rain. It may have felt into the boxed section of the garden under construction from the upper section where we had old rockery stones piled up waiting to be re-used. It had nowhere to go and had to be rescued moving where it would have come… but for the price of being photographed and memories shared. Bath, BANES, England, UK

Here and there but hopefully I'll be more here :)

The lifecycle of Queen Anne's Lace from blossom to sculpture always fascinates me. Found this one in Southford Falls State Park in Connecticut. Press "L" for details of the sculptured flower.

Colour re-edit of a shot captured in May 2017. Enjoy!

For Macro Mondays 'Curves' theme - this is a piece of glittery ribbon that arrived with a present quite a few years ago. The cat instantly adopted it as a toy and that's why it's still here.

I love when the simplest of things, like a pant on a table in a cafe, turn out be the prettiest images.

I call this the Cucumber Curl.

Not your normal symmetrical Dahlia flower. This one in my garden has very large flowers with quite a wild effect with the petals swirling all over the flower.

The curl of a wave sprinkled with some diamonds will soon tumble over itself onto the sea below.

Have a great Sunday! :)
