Most commonly, cupping is used for aches and pains of various types.
Bleeding cupping is indicating for blood stasis conditions where pain is sharp and stabbing.
A small amount of blood letting is done first, using a pricking needle, and then the cup is applied over the site.
This technique is said to promote blood circulation, remove stasis, and alleviate swelling and pain.
This is day three of this set of samples so by now one cup each is sufficient since I'm not hunting for defects as intensely as before.
