I made lots of extra little details for the wedding, such as these cupcake flags. Another thing that just came about in our weekly phone call about the wedding!
Red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese frosting are topped with wafer holly leaves and white chocolate red fondant berries. The lace tea tier was an early Christmas present!

After the test batch, we decided it needed a little extra lemon (the zest of a full lemon instead of half) and a little more agave nectar (+2 T). Pretty good, though.
I wish you could have seen them right after they came out of the oven. They were GORGEOUS before they shrank back.
Oh, and I used strawberry preserves in the first batch of icing instead of raspberry.
from a wedding i attended. happily, most people quartered their selection so we could trade bites. if only the cupcakes were as delicious as they looked...

Chocolate cupcake with a hint of peanut butter, filled with homemade peanut butter dulce de leche, topped with peanut butter dulce de leche buttercream and bittersweeet chocolate buttercream swirled...garnished with candy rocks and Valrhona crunchy chocolate pearls....WAY too Dang good...I think my best yet!

View On Black Apple pie cupcakes with cinnamon buttercream. They baked well, but I think if I ever bake them again I would make some changes. First I think I would use a cinnamon cream cheese frosting instead. I wasn't too fond of the buttercream.
i made 150 cupcakes on the weekend for a fundraiser for my freind's mum. they all sold which was good! it was funny when i sold them to my friends becasue it felt like i was playing shop :D! i finished them last minute so i didnt have a chance to take any good photos :(

French vanilla cupcakes with buttercream icing that had strawberry puree mixed in it. Topped with sliced strawberries and toasted almonds. These cupcakes were yummy.
