Today I've baked cupcakes for the first time, and in fact, it's been also the very first time I eat them, because they're not very common in Spain. I made carrot and walnut cupcakes with cream cheese and vanilla frosting, and they're OH SO GOOD!!! I also made some mini-cupcakes with the leftovers, as you see. Ain't they cute?

These are plain chocolate or yellow cake cupcakes with buttercream frosting. My favorites are red velvet cake and banana chocolate chip. Sooo good!

Remembering the original location of Cupcake Café at the corner of Ninth Avenue at 39th Street in Hell’s Kitchen, which was founded in 1988 by Ann Warren. . When we first discovered and took this 35mm photo of this bake shop in 2003, we not only loved its handpainted signage but also loved their delicious made-from-scratch buttercream cakes 🍰 and cupcakes decorated with beautiful floral designs.

#270/365 My wife made these Cupcake Pops and asked me to take a picture. It is actually a red velvet cake dipped in white chocolate. M&Ms for feet and Licorice for ears and nose.

We celebrated my Mom's 87th birthday with chocolate cupcakes infused with a center of cream cheese. Decorated with raspberry buttercream frosting and chocolate buttercream frosting. All were topped with lemon and orange candied slices.

Cupcakes are much more airy than a decker cake for me. It just enough, not a nauseating quantity, never saturates me. And it's only yours. Life stops for a moment. Just you and your cupcake stay, everything around you fades away. :) That's a wonderful cupcake magic.
Thanks to the advice of Funadium, I have brightened the original cupcake photo a bit and cropped slightly. The tip paid off, in my opinion, as I like this version quite a bit more! Thanks Funadium!

This cupcake came as a giftie from my sweet neighbor whose daughter turned 3 yesterday. It's not a doggy pupcake, and I'm not in the least bit interested in it. For I have Jillscookies to gobble. I don't think it will be around tomorrow though.
The cupcakes are vanilla, chocolate, banana and coconut. 5 tier cupcake tower with 6 inch cake and baby monkey topper. This monkey cupcake tower was made for a little boy's first birthday.
