Photo 17/31 October Picture a Day
I went to look for the Atlas comet this evening but no luck. The sky was generally quite clear but some clouds where the comet might have been. So a shot from earlier in the day when I went on a fungi hunt. This may be the Blistered Cup Fungus or the rarer Polydesnia Pruinosa, but I don't know really.

I brought a couple of phone sized LED panels to try out this spring. They can be adjusted for colour temp and tint. They are light enough to slip in my pocket and the battery lasts for ages. Whilst i still enjoy using speedlights for most things when me and Bob the dog go for a walk these little lights will be a big help.
Staff in starbucks coffee saw I was sketching so they as me if I would do it for them on paper cup. That was really fun to draw on a curve surface ! The idea was to sketch what we can see from the coffee shop when looking outside.

French pressed jamaican blue mountain coffee. One of the best cups of coffee I've ever had.
Not sure what kinda cup fungi this is called? Feeling too lazy to check it's identification.
Got some funny looks yesterday whislt taking images of fungi. One guy said "are you sure you should be carrying all that camera gear & lying on the floor whislt heavily pregnant"? I just can't help myself with all this abundance of fungi, won't get the chance when the little one arrives. Only 6 weeks until D-day yikes!!!
