When offered one of these cupcakes, should I be polite and take one of the small ones? No, my belly says no, the big one 😀😉😋

Just the second time after 6 other finals lost. The first other win was in 1976 in Chile when Italy as protest against Pinochet's dictatorship played against Chile wearing a red shirt instead of the blue one.

For my first trial with my new MP-E 65mm lens, I thought it sensible to start with something that wasn't going to move. I found these tiny fungus cups (is that what they are?) on a decaying piece of wood in my garden. I am going to have fun with this lens---to my eye, these tiny cups looked like just brown dust on the wood. This single-shot image was taken at about 3x magnification. I didn't use flash, as I need to read up on that first, so this is just a long exposure in natural light.

Could be Merismodes fasciculata (thanks to Steviethewaspwhisperer for the possible ID).

Oh ain't she sweet

Well see her walking down that street

Yes I ask you very confidentially

Ain't she sweet?

Oh ain't she nice

Well look her over once or twice

Yes I ask you very confidentially

Ain't she nice?

Just cast an eye

In her direction

Oh me oh my

Ain't that perfection?

Oh I repeat

Well don't you think that's kind of neat?

Yes I ask you very confidentially

Ain't she sweet?

All the happy dreams you can ever think of can be true with a sip of this magical cup...

Wish such a cup was real!

In case you were wondering how did I create the colorful bokeh reflection on the tea... lol it happened accidentally, as i was taking some pix of the cup, i noticed the bokeh of the shiny crystal chandelier above it and things started to be more interesting! ^______^ so here it is, my Dream Cup!

Thought the way Ikea displayed their green cups was worthy of a photo.

Very pretty, very tiny orange little cups growing on a thick rotting branch on the forest floor.

On a recent trip to Guernsey I came across this lovely place. The tide was out so I thought I'd try and capture it from a different perspective.

I focused stacked this image to try and maintain maximum depth of field. If you're looking for some amazing scenery Guernsey is somewhere I'd certainly recommend.

Photo prise hier soir durant le coucher de soleil, une vue sympathique du Mont Blanc avec cette coupole de nuage qui enveloppe tout son sommet.

Picture taken yesterday during the sunset, a crazy view of the Mont Blanc mountain with this cup of clouds at his peak.

GEPRINT Although it is a hard coral, it is classified as ahermatypic, meaning that it is not considered a reef-building coral.

Orange cup coral also lacks any symbiotic algae and is, therefore, not dependent on photosynthesis for food production. In fact, it actually prefers shaded vertical areas such as dock pilings, small caves, and walls beneath overhanging ledges. Anilao, South Luzon, Philippines

There is nothing better than a cup of delicious tea with a friend :)

When I saw this challenge, I thought of this cup. Years ago it broke. Voice from the Couch glued it back together so how could I throw it out.
