Had to get this at an antique store a few days ago. Absolutely love the colour of these cups and forget-me-nots. Don't know who made them, there's no label on the bottom. But they look to be high quality and in great shape.

I managed to grab a few shots from the annual Peirson Cup played at Kildale's wonderful ground.
This was Kildale v Danby's semi-final, where Kildale beat Danby (who have won this trophy for the last 2 years) in a excellent high scoring contest.
I was playing for East Harlsey and we beat Glaisdale in a tight semi-final contest. However in the final, Kildale absolutely walloped us. Never mind it was an enjoyable day.
Active Assignment Weekly: Minimalism/K.I.S.S
Found this lovely leaf in my backyard as I was challenging myself to find something minimalist outdoors.
What it took: I used a shallow depth of field, a fast shutter speed, and carefully selected my focus point. I had to move some branches out of the way to achieve the creamy background. Only a crop and slight contrast boost in post-process.
I did this this morning. I did go out side to light paper towels on fire. I figured this would definately set the SMOKE alarm off.

I saw this cup and immediately thought of Lynns on fire dice.

While looking through the pictures I took last summer I had some nice memories back. Those moments came so present to my mind with all their details…
How wonderful photos are!
They keep us connected with our moments forever.
My new AF-S Nikkor 24-70mm f/2,8 coffe cup. You can really fool someone with this. It`s highly detailed.
Shot with Samsung Galaxy S in dual photo mode.
I wish it was Espresso...
In fact it is just a cup of cheap Senseo coffee :)
I had only 40 minutes left before the assignment was over and I had no idea what to shoot. Our fridge was totally empty... (40 minutes I thought - in fact it was 40 Minutes and 24 hours :D )
I found a few old cookies, hmm - Cookies with coffee good idea! But the espresso was empty, too. Senseo will do the job, too!
This was kinda quick and dirty picture.
My main flash was broken and so this one had to be very easy. Like it was said in the task. I thought about using my umbrella first but I didn't wanted to use it - time was tight and it would coast at least 3 Minutes to build it up.
Strobist Info:
So I took my old SB28 and aimed it at the curtain which was exactly behind the cup. It ran on half power zoomed at 75 mm with my white gel (similar to the dome diffuser) . Triggered via poverty wizards.
Hope it is good enough to participate.
I had the great opportunity to photograph Tyler Seguin's day with the Stanley Cup this past weekend.
Great guy, and a great turnout of crazy Bruins fans!
I loved how my tea cup had little feet on it! And the plate had these gorgeous cut-outs all around the edge as well. I choose the Rooibos Provence tea, which was an herbal tea with hints of lavender. It was really very delicious.
The proprietor also came out with lots of munchies suitable for afternoon tea -- finger sandwiches, petit fours, and scones. Mmm yummy!!
