A yummy potato recipe from my friend's mom (who is Slovakian!).

Peel 6 to 8 potatoes and slice into wedges.

Bring a pot of water to a boil with lots of cumin, basil, salt, pepper

boil potatoes for 10 minutes

strain potatoes, lightly coat with olive or grapeseed oil, and add more cumin, basil, salt, and pepper to taste

place on a broiling pan and broil until browned

This is her vague recipe, but trust me, they are DELICIOIS

Tried my hand at macro shots today. I like how the cumin seeds were kind of falling when I got this shot!

I dressed blanched, grated carrot with the leftover vinaigrette that went with the couscous and a drop of orange flower water, which resulted in a surprisingly complex, interesting salad in the amount of time it took me to make toast.

Properties of black seed oil

Process

Best quality Turkish black seeds from the reliable sources, cleaned and sorted.

Firstly, Bst nigella oil is completely virgin oil by first cold pressing of black seeds.

Secondly, no preheating process takes place. Although preheating leads to higher yields and reduces the cost, black seeds are not heated before entering into process .

In addition, process temperature never exceeds 40 degrees Celsius during production.
