A little crocheted cuff for a jar - this one is finished with a ceramic heart button and looks very pretty with a tea light lit inside it.

Made with Rowan Hand Knit Cotton DK

...Im thinking about attaching some wire to this jar, to make a lantern with it for hanging...

Another wrist cuff that will be gifted to another dear friend.

The folkloric fabric was a gift from the awesome Patricia (Zencrafting), the lining was bought in Paris, and the button (that you can't see) was a gift from the awesome Joanie. The elastic cord was salvaged. I only re-embroidered some of the birds' details.

I am really enjoying making wrist cuffs these days, can you tell ?! LOL And I have a last one to show, but after that my friend will have gotten it.

AOR379C is a Bedford VAL14 / Plaxton C52F new in April

1965 to Glider & Blue, Bishops Waltham . It was acquired by Derek James , Sherston in December 1972 , in a brown and cream livery. He later painted it dark blue with a cream roof , and it retained this livery with Ray Cuff after he acquired it in January 1976 , until withdrawn at the end of 1980 , albeit with most of the offside panels replaced and unpainted for some years.

AOR379C is pictured at the bus stop on Church Bridge , Bruton , with the destination boxes showing "Shepton Mallet , Bruton , Evercreech". The door is manually operated which is not ideal for one man bus operation.

Ray Cuff's next bus in 1981 was NUF438G a Bristol RELL6G / Marshall B53F , new in 1969 to Southdown , the first of several REs , both owned and borrowed.

Jewellery was a big part of Elizabethan Tudor fashion, especially for those who were rich and important. It showed both their wealth and status. Jewellery was also used to convey political messages, display religious beliefs and to remind people of friends and relatives who have died. Jewellery in Tudor times was not widespread and is essentially worn by the upper classes and those who could afford such finery.

Tudor bracelets tended to be made out of silver or gold and decorated with precious stones. Strands of pearls could also be wrapped around the wrist. The Elizabethan cuff is reminiscent of bracelets of the era. A wide cuff - elaborate, luxurious and intricately woven. A central panel of bezelled large beads form a bold focal point to the cuff. Eminently suited to the delicate wrists of the Elizabethan Tudor lady of the upper classes.

This stunning bracelet is crocheted with silver wire and embellished with light gold matte Czech fire-polished multicut glass beads, cream and gold Swarovski pearls. The cuff is complemented by a sterling silver magnetic sliding clasp.

It measures 2” in width and 6 ½” in length (to fit a 6” wrist).

Melanie Muir meets Carol Simmons!!

My first cuff using Melanie's Rock Cuff tutorial using metallic mokume gane sheets made in Carol's class at Polydays 2012 recently. Can't see the gorgeous gleam of the metallic Premo in this photo but it has buffed up to a lovely shine!

Sterling silver and 18k gold with gem stones

This deliciously rich brown, funky, yet elegant, cuff was bead-embroidered around three beautiful Swarovski Jet Nut Button Rivolis. The buttons are surrounded by Bronze-lined Crystal and Bronze Japanese seed beads and Deep Brown Swarovski pearls. This centrepiece is attached to the Ultrasuede-covered brass cuff which is trimmed and embellished with the Japanese seed beads.

The centre piece measures 4” by 2” (c. 10 x 5 cm), the cuff itself is 2” (c. 5 cm) wide and fits all sizes.

Polymer clay cabochons made by Sharon Solly. Surrounded with seed and glass beads on UltraSuede backing. Backed with another strip of UltraSuede and joined with gold seeds and gold lined tiny crystal drop beads.

Hand knitted cuff, embellished with coral lace, Swarovski Padparadscha bicones, sequins and seed beads...

As seen in an email from eternity collars.

These appear to be virtually identical to the Cartier replicas that I bought a while back, which is not a bad thing.

However, I would be more impressed if, for that money, you got recessed screw heads, with a more difficult to open driver type. It's not really locked on if she can open it with the file on her nail clippers.

For the bracelets that I bought, I replaced the round head screws with countersunk Phillips head screws. But then, she spends most of her time locked in her tiffany bracelet.

and matching cuff - handmade from Polymerclay

Another bead embroidered cuff. This time with cabs made of a red mokume gane, combined with seedbeads in different shades of red.
