Moving on from chain stitch flowers to free form (as I can't do patterns!) - this started to frill so I thought it made a nice cuff. I love happy accidents!

Polluted Cuff
Cuff is hand sewn using cotton and viscose fabrics. The factory was designed by me and transfered into fabric. I applied three layers of various textiles to create a realistic effect of a smog that fades fades into your skin.
Cuff is adjustable and closes with a velvet ribbon and metal hook/eye.

Felt cuff, or wrist shield. Wool sweater cuff, needle felt and wet finish. Hand dyed wool, coat button, crochet linen closure.
I don't "do" polymer all the time. This is acid etched brass sweated over a hand fabricated, silver cuff.

used polymer clay for the flowers, felt for the base, mixed them with cloth flowers, sequins and felt lace that you can buy at any craft store. enjoyed making this one!

This is a beautiful pair of silver cuff links featuring two 7 ruby jewels ELGIN watch movements that have a bunch of cool gears and movable parts on them. The cuff links are rectangle in shape and measure approximately 1 1/4inches in length and 5/8 inches in width. Reg. $465. Disc.$350.
Tries at printing tiny keys.. didn't go very well.. All were done with a 0.35mm nozzle at .25 layer height on a non-stepper extruder.
From the left:
- standard profile and 0.15 infill
- all extra shells to 0 and 1.0 infill
- 2x2 multiply
- rotated and printed on its side with support structures
Okay, so I was watching the movie ('Chocolat') and then I figured that since I watch so many movies, maybe I should try to take photos that have something to do with films I watch. Whether it's thinly related to the title, the plot, characters, whatever. Maybe it'll help me improve.
