A sturdy piece of 18 gauge copper has been hammered from end to end, giving it a fun texture and added strength. It was then hand-forged into its permanent cuff shape that it will easily slip onto a variety of wrist sizes. It has been filed smooth on the edges, polished and buffed, and given a light coat of polish to help retain its warm, lustrous natural color. This is a great casual piece that can go with just about anything from jeans to a cute little dress.
this cuff is made of handwoven cloth, recycled cotton fabric, leather, buckles or metal rings and shells..
They are all going to my favourite shop in Dunkeld.

This pants are great. They have a full rise and fit really well over a cloth diaper. So many rtw baby pants a cut with a low rise.i just bought a pair of Carter's and they fit like hipsters and don't work over the cloth diaper, very frustrating. I also like the added length with the roll cuff. These pants should fit a long time. Well worth making.
I actually did not put a drawstring in this pants. I just threaded ribbon through the buttonholes, tied a bow and then tacked each side down of bow down to the waistband so no untying here. Fabric is from fabric.com.
The term “Renaissance” means “rebirth” and it was an important time of social and cultural change. The Renaissance itself, between the early 17th to late 19th century, spread throughout Europe like wildfire. New continents were discovered and along with them came the expansion of trade, increase in wealth and access to beautiful and rare materials and gemstones.
It was the age of patronage of wealthy noblemen and powerful families to arts, music, philosophy, sciences, poetry and architecture.
To show off their wealth, items of jewellery were especially prized; ornate and highly decorated with the rarest of gemstones. Many pieces featured large stones, with other jewels set around them. Some of the wealthy even wore rings set with gems on all five fingers.
The Renaissance Cuff is emblematic of the jewels of the era. A central sparkling crystal is surrounded by a ring of smaller glittering firepolished beads. The bracelet strap features more gem-like stones and luscious pearls woven into a complex design.
