I almost forgot I had taken some photos for my friend/neighbor Candy back in September. She sells these adorable fabric cuffs in her etsy shop. And for cheap too!

I love that I can see my black-eyed susans in the background. If I took a photo of this spot right now you'd cry. Dead. Gross. Brown. LIfe less. Now I'm crying. Sort of.

“Shou”

The character that denotes longevity in Chinese.

It is about having good health and living a long life.

The Chinese longevity symbol is the most revered among the five good fortune symbols -

Good Luck, Prosperity, Longevity, Happiness, Wealth

The “Shou” character has been stylized by many. One of the most instantly recognizable image of this character is the round “Shou” with straight lines reflecting the strokes of the character. It is this version that the Cuff Of Longevity uses as a design element. To the Chinese, it is very auspicious to have this symbol on one self. To the non-Chinese, it is immediately recognizable as something intrinsically Oriental while being very attractive as a design element.

Weave yourself a beautiful and elegant cuff using this age old symbol of longevity. Wear it on your wrist to benefit from the fortune of longevity.

The peaceful polymer clay face combines with soothing colors to create this earthy cuff bracelet.

Each tiny bead is individually hand sewn on a felt backing, then the bracelet is backed with recycled leather and edged with beading. The leather is branded with my logo and the Roycroft mark.

There is no metal base, so this bracelet is flexible and very comfortable. The strong magnetic metal clasp is sterling silver plate.

cuff is 2" wide at widest point

about 7" long- fits medium wrist

This necklace is my entry for the December Etsy Beadweavers Challenge. The theme was "Peace Piece" This bracelet reflects the feeling of inner peace and the unity with nature that I feel must be achieved before peace between peoples can become a true reality.

Copper folded cuff with brass and copper wire and sterling silver stars.

Green patina added to give it an organic look and brushed to a matte finish.

This cuff measures 8" in size and is made of labradorite gemstone chip beads, dyed green quartz beads, and black wire.

*Metaphysical Properties of Labradorite:

Labradorite has always been one of my favourite gemstones. balances and protects the aura, raises consciousness and grounds spiritual energies. It strengthens intuition and promotes psychic abilities. Powerful in revealing the truth behind illusions, labradorite banishes fears and insecurities, and strengthens faith in one's self and trust in the universe. It stimulates the imagination and calms an overactive mind, developing enthusiasm and new ideas. Labradorite treats disorders of the eyes and brain, stimulates mental acuity, and relieves anxiety and stress. It regulates metabolism, balances hormones and relieves menstrual tension. Labradorite treats colds, gout, and rheumatism, lowers blood pressure, and aids in digestion.

Labradorite is a feldspar mineral, and is also known as Spectrolite

It is a ligature "囍" composed of two Chinese characters 喜(joy), compressed to assume the square shape of a standard Chinese character (much like a real character may consist of two parts), and often modified in various ways.

The motif often appears on decorative items associated with Chinese New Year celebrations and weddings, the latter of the two is often found all over the wedding ceremony, as well as on gift items given to the bride and groom.

Perfect gift for groom, groomsmen gift and wedding favors.

A pretty little decoration for your wrist!

One of a kind!

It is knitted and crochet with a wool nylon blend yarn that has many different shades of blue. It features a velvet ribbon bow and a blue button. It is accented with a small blue teardrop bead.

This cuff just slips onto your wrist. No buttons or clasps to fuss with. The max it will stretch is 7”. Most of it is more stretchy, but one point is not.

Please hand wash to best prolong the life of this piece.

Approximately 2.5" Wide

Approximately 7” Circumference (Max) A little less unstretched.

Thanks for looking!

Cuff earing for Margo. Gold 14 carats filigree

Gay Pride, Seattle, 2007.

You can see the Tazer wire down by the middle officers shoes. It will be interesting to know what this fellow was originally arrested for.

Mexican Opal Cuff~ Sterling silver cuff bracelet with pierced/hand engraved overlay and various Mexican Opals (Red fire opal, orange fire opal, crystal in matrix & pure white crystal opals). Rough and pre-cut opals provided by client La Rocka Gem and Mineral, opal cutting by Mark Anderson.

A sturdy piece of 18 gauge copper has been hammered from end to end, giving it a fun texture and added strength. It was then hand-forged into its permanent cuff shape that it will easily slip onto a variety of wrist sizes. It has been filed smooth on the edges, polished and buffed, and given a light coat of polish to help retain its warm, lustrous natural color. This is a great casual piece that can go with just about anything from jeans to a cute little dress.

Cuff is almost completed. Need to add the trimwork and backing.
