I was quite disappointed to find one of my cuff links broken on Thursday when I was organizing my outfit for today's Tweed Ride. So what's a grrl to do on short notice?? Make your own of course with some pretty buttons you have sitting about and some thread to wind and weave them together.
I'm pretty happy with the results! And I think they go nicely with the silk cravat I found in Courage My Love this week. :)

This cuff was created for the Etsy Beadweaver January/February Challenge "Tropical Holiday". I used 12 different colors of Delicas in an off-set block pattern. There are two shades of green, four of blue, three of yellow and three of orange. The colors make me think of warm summer and I could sure use that now!

These cuff links are made of matched Elgin watch movements, with four rubies showing on the front.
The only difference between the pair is the serial number, as these are the same make and model. What fancy dandy or daring lady could resist such slender and lovely cuff links, to adorn their wrists and keep their cuffs closed?

The cuff link faces measure approximately .75" long.
The fire gods were happy! She had taught the village people well! They would forever keep fire as the source of their strength! The fire gods' emblem would grace all!
Fire Cuff is the color of a blazing orange fire! The center medallion is vintage glass surroundedby bronze seed beads and firey delicas. The ropes are RAW stitch incorporating the same beads. They are tied together with fire polished round bronze beads and orange Czech beads. The closure is a beaded magnet.
The bracelet measures approximately 7 and 1/2 inches (19cm). The vintage focal with beaded bezel and ropes measures approximately 1 and 3/4 inches (4 and 1/2 cm) wide.
When I saw this wonderful vintage glass, I knew that I wanted to use it to make a cuff that would compliment my Atomic Cuff. This cuff was my vision!!

I made this cuff to remember my hometown. We lived near the sea and every weekend, when the tide is high, I'd be there with my friends, swimming and playing till we drop dead of hunger.
We're pretty excited about this... first cuff that's not just for one of us... we are working on a range of sizes and styles so we can list them. features bamboo, cocobolo, redheart, shedua, aluminum and what we call domestic mystery wood.
