A shot of Cucumber Falls in Ohiopyle State Park, Pa.
I had to really search for a composition that would hide all of the people hanging out in the pool of water at the bottom of this waterfall. This is a very popular destination if you couldn't have guessed.

That's the actual name, according to bugguide.net, for Diabrotica adelpha! Or one actual name - it's Festive Diabrotica, according to iNaturalist. I don't know about festive, but it's a little more interesting than our common spotted cucumber beetle. Seen on the trail near Fredericksburg, Texas...
Playing around with some leftover cucumber slices this morning. The slices floated under the surface of the oil and didn't want to cooperate. I love using food for photography in different ways. Two stop HDR and a circular polarizer were used to capture the wide dynamic range of the scene.

Macro image of a cucumber. If you look closely you can see white things inside the part that seems to be some kind of seed. This is just an ordinary slice but the patterns in it sure are beautiful!

The Cucumber spider, Araniella Cucurbitina, is easy to identify. Not only because of its green and yellow abdomen with black dots, it also have a red spot, far back above the spinners
