In case you didn't know, I draw also.
Remember how I'm always talking about how beautiful it is when organic and inorganic mix in perfect unison? That idea basically inspires most of my drawings. This is a class doodle, but I'm gonna fix it up into something and possibly put it into a portfolio.
The shading is done entirely with cubes. This is just pen and line paper.
Hope you like it.

This is a scaled-down remake of the first shape I ever posted, the Caged Cube. The cube is a solid diagonal cube, supported by struts to "float" in the center of the octahedral frame.
I'm working on a tutorial video, but I wanted to re-build the shape first to make sure I remembered all the details. And while I was at it, I figured I might as well scale it down as much as possible so that more people would be able to make use of the tutorial.
The original was 6938 Zen Magnets, for reference, compared to 2435 for this one.

This was a close-up of foam from a banana milkshake (delicious). I used GIMP to change the color and apply the "cubism" filter. Best viewed large.
18 cubed. It might look simple, but it was quite difficult to make. The magnets aren't terribly happy in orthogonal blocks like this, and the slightest screw-up means you have to start over.
