Napoleon Crossing the Alps is the title given to the five versions of an oil on canvas equestrian portrait of Napoleon Bonaparte painted by the French artist Jacques-Louis David between 1801 and 1805.
I don't like war but I like the Arts & painting. After two hundred years an oil on canvas painted by Jacques-Louis David, I recreate it in LEGO mosaic version instead of an oil on canvas.

“Crossing Flows” was created from an aerial view of Basel, where the constant movement of vehicles intersects with the slower, continuous flow of the Rhine. The work focuses on this idea of overlapping currents, transforming a moment of urban life into a graphic composition.
The unique color of the river at that specific time gave the image its defining character, creating a strong contrast with the linear geometry of the bridge. The result is a photograph that reduces a complex scene to clear structures and rhythms, emphasizing how different flows can coexist within the same frame.
My first addition of dogs to the 'Blurry People are Better' series. This is also another of those images that initially got passed by in my first edit. It was not until several months later that I was reviewing film from the past year that I saw this negative again with a renewed interest and decided to scan it. Always, always, always make a point to go back through past work. Your eyes change over time, you will see things you never saw before, or things you did see before in a new light.
I really like sand too, you know? I love how the ocean molds it into a myriad of patterns, such that no two trips to the beach are ever the same, or even remotely close to it. The beach changes by the second and the next day a beach that was quite familiar several hours before is now completely new and strange. The intertidal zone makes for some of the most dramatic explorations, both visually and in terms of walking through this barefoot feeling the textures left by wind and water. Nature is quite an artist.

Here is the Jeffersonville Crossing outlet center in Jeffersonville, Ohio. This shopping center is one of two major outlet centers built the same year (1993) just one exit apart on Interstate 71 in Jeffersonville. The other outlet center built was Prime Outlets (now Tanger Outlets) and was built with the parking lot surrounding it. Jeffersonville Crossing was built around the parking lot. Today, Jeffersonville Crossing is empty except for a few independent shops while Tanger Outlets is mostly occupied. I really don't think this (mostly rural) area has enough people to support two outlet centers, especially since newer outlet centers have been built near Cincinnati and Columbus.
