I had a great day today at the San Diego zoo with my Dad, we had our own little Father/Daughter field trip...very fun!! I am going to buy him a pass so we can do this regularly. We both had our canons, and probably ave matching pictures, we had a great time!

Pattern by Stephanie G.; I actually don't remember how I found it, I think via Craft Magazine, either way here's a link to the pattern.

It's simple and quick, so I made one each for my grandmothers for Xmas. They both live in the Chicago suburbs, and I constantly worry about them keeping warm! xD

This assignment took me the longest to complete. I enjoyed this the most. We had to mimick the drawing of the seated boy by George Seurat on pg 233 in our book. The objective of this assignment was to use only cross hatching technique and show different value changes. Our original sketch with contour lines could not show in our drawing. I tried my best to illustrate cross hatching the best way I can.

Mine, just sent off to asnowballschance.

Hand-drawn (crosshatched) from a photo.

Cross hatch in Adobe Illustrator. For using the same hatch patterns in many files, make a .ai file containing all the paterns you need. Use it for Copy/Paste as often as you like.

I liked the crosshatch effect from the skylights over the baggage claim area.
