I'm naming this one Big Daddy, he
has been around for sometime now.
I've actually had a chance last nite
to see him up next to Stubby, this
guy is BIG! He's about one and a
half times larger than Stubby. I bet
he stands on all fours about 14
inches from back to the ground.
He's really big around as well, he
can easily reach the top rail standing
on his back two feet. Stubby tried to
come up to eat but this guy chased
her off. Yet, a small opposum was
eating behind him and he did nothing
to it.
These critters are the result of a computer program that created a simple structure and allowed it to mutate. Selection preferred motion. The critters learned to move in an amazing variety of ways. Some of them look familiar; others are just plain weird. All of them are the result of selection pressure on random variation. This kind of mathematical evolution can be used to solve design problems.

While munching my lunch, I was looking at the tanks and guns waiting to be moved from the Ordinance Museum at APG and this critter appeared out of no where. No idea what it was but it appeared to be about the size of a small horse
I mad this critter for a friend. She recently lost her mother, and then her house flooded. I wanted to make her smile. I gave it to her today. She loved it. She has 7 cats and the fabric I choose as kitty cats all over it.
