We figured this was a tarantula nest - there was webbing all over it. Thank goodness I did not see the critter that lives in there - or I would still be running in the other direction....

Critters attack!

Critters got into the Valentine chocolates.

I couldn't resist! We were in the Bristlecone Pine area on the Mt. Evans road when I saw this 'layering' display showing what 'lies beneath'. I just had to shoot this magnified little guy to see if the shot would come out!!
