Phineas & Ferb themed birthday cake.
It's a 1/4 sheet cake with buttercream frosting. Decorations are fondant and gumpaste. Letters cut with the Cricut Cake. Toys purchased by the customer.
This cake was designed for a very special woman - Kathy! Once my client, she became a very dear friend of mine!
Her dear husband asked for a surprise cake, both for him and Kathy. The things I knew were that she loved weddings and princesses, and that her Birthday party was about pink, silver, red, love and sparkle. That was enough for me!

Preparatory work for a Cricut (computer-driven cutting device, like a plotter with a blade) piece. First the design, then the colors, then 4 separate layers (one for each color) which will be sent to the Cricut separately with the appropriate paper loaded, and then some variations on colors and combinations of layers.
Made this card for Virginia's Vieuw Challenge : "Layers".
I started with the IO Script Background in soft pink. Than stamped Branch Background on top if it with Wet Cement. Further aded a Hero Arts Tag from the "Forever" stamp set. And than added the birthhouse and the flowers, wich I cut with my Cricut. The sentiment is a "Spool Sentiment" by Maya Road.
After I cut a whole lot of feathers with my cricut machine , I saved the outsides, and made a card with it, using washi tape. Want to insert it to the Moxie Fab World Challenge here:
