10 Reasons I Switched To Team Cricut! +Free Cricut Images
I am not the first person to jump ship and swim to beachy shores of Cricut. It’s a little crafty paradise. Honestly. Last year I invested in a cutting machine, I got the entry level Silhouette Portrait machine and I ...

Here's the sign for our OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue computer).
The lettering and arrow, made using a Cricut machine, were affixed to a glass panel separating the library from an adjacent pathway to the adjoining computer lab.
(TIPS: We used a hot glue gun to glue the lettering to the glass. Hot glue is great for affixing items to glass as it usually pulls of quite easily. The pieces that don't pull off come off with a flick of a paint scraper. Residue comes off easily with window cleaner.
For items you'd like to use again, put a piece of heavy bookbinding tape on the back, and use hot glue only on those areas. This will protect your item from damage when you take it down.)

Project 365 // Day 88
These are some critter characters my wife made using her Cricut machine. She enjoys making custom party/event invitations, greeting/holiday/birthday cards, among other things. A Cricut is a home die-cutting machine capable of cutting paper, fabric and vinyl sheets into specific patterns, shapes and designs.
As a designer, I love how versatile this machine can be, since it allows you to make very unique things.

The sentiment is from PTI. The feathers are cut with my Cricut. Used "Craft Room" for this project. The background wood stamp is by Hero Arts/Basic Grey...love that one...love it has little hearts in it. The stamped feathers on the notecard are also from a stampset by Hero Arts, from the "Stamp your Story" line.
Used some gold thread and gold Smootch. The sentiment is stamped on paper wich is first sprayed with a gold spray. The tag is a die cut from Hero Arts.

Made for the CAS-ology challenge: "Harvest".
We have a delicious tasting apple overhere in the Netherlands, with the name: "Elstar".
I think it is THE best tasting apple! Just noticed the new harvest of these apples is in store now. Mmmm, love it!
This made it easy for me to make an apple card for the CAS-ology challenge this week.
The "Wood" background stamp is Hero Arts/Basic Grey. The appletree stamp is also Hero Arts/Basic Grey. The apples are cut with my Cricut Machine, using the "Freshly Picked" cartridge.
And than there was something missing....yes, some birds. I found these little birds on a Hero Arts stamp: "Many Birds", of wich stamp I only inked the two birds who are not in the tree , but are flying away :)
The tiny apples beside the card I found in our neigbourhood :)
Made this for a colleague who is going to marry tomorrow. I saw Shari's watercolor background, wich she showed us how to make yesterday. And I was immediately in awe. So I tried it. After stamping I cut a heart shape of it with my cricut and glued it on the envelop background. The frame is a stamp by Waltzing Mouse. And the word "Forever"comes from the Hero Arts set "Clear Design F". The flower is made with the Cricut cartridge "A Mother's Day Bouquet". Thank you Shari!!!
Cricut cake ...for cricut cake. Now i know there are LOTS of cricut made cakes out there now but I bet this is the first with one on it! Fondant modelled cricut machine with personal message "cut" on the mat. Marbelled green fondant and almond covered 8 inch fruit cake.

Made this card for Hero Arts Challenge of this month. I used one of the sketches wich are given. Besides the clouds background stamp and the envelop background stamp I used my Cricut to cut out this adorable sailing boat! This boat and the sun and the waves come from the : Life is a beach cartridge. For the sails I used the canvas stripes.
