A rainy day with Photoshop instead of camera. For my album "Creativity, Close-up and Macro". Take a look !
"Creativity is a lot like looking at the world through a kaleidoscope. You look at a set of elements, the same ones everyone else sees, but then reassemble those floating bits and pieces into an enticing new possibility."
Rosabeth Moss Kanter
Creativity takes courage,
but beyond every performer
is a beginner who
fell in love with
expression,
storytelling, &
being set free.

This photo is from from the Aug Issue 2018 in L'homme Magazine. I'm finally getting around to posting it! Once again special props to Hikaru Enimo, Moon Ling, & Deccan Arida. Creativity starts in the minds of the great. Stay tune for the latest issue of L'homme @ issuu.com/lhommemagazinesl/docs/lhommemagazinesl_august2018.
Sometimes the graffiti is really creative and intelligent, but mostly just stupid and unimaginative. Suppose Baselitz, Richter or Beus just write his name on a blank piece of paper ... senseless!
A piece of our Danish host's garden I absolutely adored! During our stay, I admired the love and creativity she put into the beautiful and peaceful haven, consisting of many little sections or cozy nooks such as this one.
Your vision can bend reality, you might see things unseen. Your sight is a sight of an artist. Where others see trees, you might see the forest. Where others see a dezert, you might see the ocean. Your vision can turn nothing to something. That's the creativity. So what do you see?
"Tyger Tyger burning bright,
In the forests of the night:
What immortal hand or eye,
Dare frame thy fearful symmetry?"
William Blake
When I see the variety of colors and shapes that nature endows this faded part of a magnolia with, I am simply fascinated!
When I get a slump and feel a need to pump up, all I do is take the walk in nature. It does not take long and frames begin to appear on things near and far. After an hour walk I am pumped and full of ideas, the memory card is pumped and full too lol.
Happy New Year 2024 to All!
Here's to a fresh start, with hopes that the excellent human qualities of kindness, reason, and cooperation continue to exist and thrive in our world so that harmony and prosperity can prevail. Here's also to continued creativity and inspiration!!
This is the Pacific along the Northern California Coast, on a Spring day. Best wishes to all!

All of us at one time or another,
have felt like flying away.
If only we had wings?
But no matter were you go
there you are, so they say.
And It maybe that we have something better,
our imagination and creativity.
So set them free!
Sometimes I think I should take up drinking coffee. I wonder if it really helps.

This week's theme is yellow. The color yellow is the color of joy, happiness and creativity. It is stimulating and associated with optimism, clarity of thought and intelligence. Yellow brings light and evokes optimism, energy and playfulness, among other things. Yellow is one of the most common colors among flowers and highlighters.
Hmmm... I'm having one of those nights. I've been through all of my recent fence shots and I don't like any of them. I don't like this one too much either. I don't like any of my editing...the list goes on.
It's been such a busy week that I haven't been out to take many pictures, and I had all of these great plans that just didn't work out at all!
I think I need a weekend!
HFF :-)
