Sketch created at the eyepiece of a Helios 102mm refractor fitted with a Zoom eyepiece, on a Skywatcher AZGTi mount set up in my back garden in Oxfordshire.
I used black paper and Stabilo CarbOthello pastel pencils.
I have created many eyepiece sketches over the past 10 years, but tonight was the first time I've actually created a sketch of the Moon live at the eyepiece. Until now, all of my lunar sketches have been created from photos! It was a challenge because it was well below freezing and my eyepiece kept misting up.

The Mercedes-Benz C123 Series coupé belonged to the W123 range. This series W123 saloon & coupé was designed by Bruno Sacco and Friedrich Geiger back in 1973.
A classic and attractive estate version came in 1975.

DIGITAL ART: Created from an inverted photo. The inverted photo was all solid blue. I digitally painted in the ocean water, the moon and the sailboat today. I used "Paint X" to do this. The original photo was taken yesterday before I inverted it.
Here is a card I made using stamps from Altenew and STAMPlorations.
