Thank you for looking.
Created for TMI's "13" challenge and for the Hypothetical Awards' 2nd Annual ~ ARTYfishal artyFISHES ~ Underwater Art Challenge.
Created from a blank canvas.
Each fish painting (all done in Photoshop using a mouse) is based on a fish found in nature. Of course you would never find this assortment of fish all in the same environment since some are salt water and others fresh water dwellers. Nevertheless, they live happily together in my ichthyological fantasy ;-).

The fluted sheet creates "the space in between"
the two liner boards. The nature of the fluted design also creates its own "space in between" the curves of the fluted material.
"Corrugated fiberboard is a material consisting of a fluted corrugated sheet and one or two flat linerboards. It is made on "flute lamination machines" or "corrugators" and is used in the manufacture of shipping containers and corrugated boxes.
The corrugated medium and linerboard board both are made of kraft containerboard, a paperboard material usually over 0.01 inches (0.25 mm) thick. Corrugated fiberboard and paperboard are sometimes called corrugated cardboard, although cardboard might be any heavy paper-pulp based board."

When I think about the kind of person I really am at heart, I'd describe myself first and foremost as an introvert. Some people laugh at this because my work suggests otherwise but the reality is that it took me years to find the courage to model. It's something I'd always wanted to do but it also terrified me because I am *definitely* the kind of person who is most comfortable with a good book by the pool.
It usually takes me a long time to feel comfortable around someone and even longer to start to really be myself. This passion of mine forces me to push myself outside of my comfort zone regularly and I do it because I think it makes me the best version of myself; even when I struggle sometimes with the need for privacy vs the need to do what I love.
Ultimately this is my dream. I'm not really 'model material' in so many ways but I love it to bits and it pushes me outside of my comfort zone regularly - which I think is the secret to finding fulfilment in your life. Not all risks are worth the reward but if you don't push yourself every so often, you'll never know if that one decision could have been the one to change your life.

Cranmer Courts was very badly damaged in the quakes that unexpectedly hit Christchurch. Originally big photographs were put into the holes where the doors and windows were, but now these massive pictures have been put across the boarded up ends of the buildings to keep them alive in the minds of the people of Christchurch.
The project was thought up by Mike Hewson.
An abstract seascape created using intentional camera movement, capturing the quiet space between waves as light fades across the horizon. Soft motion blurs sea and sky into layered tones of blue and muted gold, reducing the scene to feeling rather than place.

After certain age, after certain failures, after certain cataclysms when you set boundaries you die ! Simple !! Not the way when your heart & brain stop working but the way when your soul stops. And that’s a different kind of death but still death.
