Standing on the bed of Napa Hai (Napa Lake), 3270 meters above sea level and covers 660 square kilometers; it is approximately 8 kilometers northwest of Zhongdian town in Yunnan Province.
It's a lake only July - September when the snow of the surrounding mountains melts and water runs into this valley (I guess this is Napa Valley hehe) and forms a lake.

Hector and I went into Downtown Los Angeles last night to shoot some pictures. I had to take him to my favorite spot at the John Ferraro building. We were able to get some good shots and even some good quick portraits. Security harassed us for a few minutes but then wandered off and left us alone. Unfortunately this seems to be a common occurrence. Still, we had a great time and capped the evening with Pork French Dip's at Phillipe's.

With mostly high cloud skies and mist around the mountain there was absolutely no wind to talk about to ruffle the waters of Lake Mangamahoe just east of New Plymouth creating some nice reflections to mirror the view. The rising sun was just starting to glow on the trees to the right to add to the scene.Got the depth that i wanted as well with the layers and the clouds seem to point towards the mountain as well so a productive early morning image making wander...coffee in hand.
Shanghai Tower is in Lujiazui Finance and Trade Zone of Pudong, with Shanghai World Financial Center to the east and Jin Mao Tower to the north. At present, the tower has been finished, standing 2,073 feet (about 632 meters) high and ranking as China's tallest building and second only to the world at large. The foot print takes up 326,878 square feet (about 30,368 square meters) with floor space of about 6,200,012 square feet (about 576,000 square meters), with 5 basement levels, 127 floors above ground and 5 podium floors. It's reported that the tower will be open to the public soon. By then, visitors can take the express elevator to the sightseeing deck on the 119th floor directly and a whole ride only takes 55 seconds.
I just love Moogerah Dam. Every single time I go there I come away happy - not only beause I always get amazing images here but because it always gives me a sense of peace and calm and serenity. these Clouds yesterday was just wonderful. There were also lots of fires around too so you can see the smoky haze in the background.
