these homes in takoma park all look like single-family homes until you count the mailboxes–they're small apartment buildings, and a crucial source of middle- and working-class housing in a town where the median home price in 2024 was $700,000.
Took this photo Saturday, pre-dawn and thought it would make a cool mosaic. However, I don't think I've got that skill. We'll see. If I do make one, you all will see the WIPs!

112 Pictures in 2012, #100 Time
I took this picture while I was on my way to the Freedom Tunnel. I sat in front of this guy who seemed to be homeless and while I was looking around I noticed the word "pray" written on the handle bar of the door. I felt this fit perfectly for a picture. We should pray for those who aren't as blessed as we are.
This photograph is one of my final pieces. it is meant to represent OCD and how some people with OCD 'plan' how they are going to walk up and down the stairs, making sure they either start or finish on a certain foot. I think that this image was successful because the coloured foot prints stand out well and show what i want them to.
