I took this shot a few weeks ago.
had just over seeded my lawn with winter rye. For you people that do not live in a warm climate, we put in Rye grass for the cold winter months here in Phx. By cold I mean 50's Ha Ha.
Anyhow it lets me mow my grass 12 months a year. Sounds like fun Huh?
Back to the birds, they love to eat the seed, so this day I went out back and they were all over my yard feasting. As soon as I showed up they took cover in my orange tree waiting for me to go away.
I don't know how many birds are in the tree but just as many flew away.
Gracie counting her eggs while Daddy takes a few pictures, then she realized one of the eggs was cracked.
I'm a little bothered that I didn't take the time to get this perfectly straight/more off center but I was rushed. I'm still content with how it turned out.
525 days and counting backwards and the "brains" behind the bush is resigning to "spend more time with his family". Is it too much to ask for Mr. Cheney to resign next? Is it too much to want to hear them talk about their prison buddies as family?
The Sunshine Coaster feed zone, where racers were to count their own laps and pick up a fresh bottle if their team was nice enough to have some around. A good crowd gathered to hand off bottles and cheer on their team members as they climbed Black Tower, a trail we later found out was much more fun to descend!
