It had been about two weeks since we visited Mud Creek Environmental Learning Center in Ghent, New York, USA, so we dropped by on May 20, 2012, to see how the season was progressing. The sassafras trees are, now, fully leaved out. Nice!

When night comes, he buffs up into a creature with grand physique, horticultural complexion, and a huge nasal apparatus. Only during the day he is plain John Smith, tax consultant extraordinaire.
He became this way because at some point in his career, he dealt with a shady operation concerning nuclear waste and tainted money. The "funny money" was flooded with gamma radiation and made him what he is now: Count Hulkela, tax consultant by day, super-hero by night.
