We had to count plates each day so we knew how many to take to the serving area and so we could estimate the food amounts. Here you can see (from L to R) me, Matt Duncan (red hat), Paul Dier and Chris Franklin counting plates

Open EdTech 2010: Campus Life! Rethinking the Online Campus Life of the 21st Century (Barcelona, October 2010)
I met this two in Agra/India, nearby the Taj Mahal. I was really shocked about the poverty there, even more strange than in Delhi. Although this pic is little amusing, it shows child labour which is everywhere prevalent in the city of Agra and Delhi.
Learning Session 3, Liberty Stadium, Swansea: Taking its stimulus from the Count me in! campaign, launched to encourage involvement across all strata of NHS staff in Wales in the 1000 Lives Campaign as it enters it's last 6 months.
But there is no real me: only an entity, something illusory. And though I can hide my cold gaze, and you can shake my hand and feel flesh gripping yours and maybe you can even sense our lifestyles are probably comparable... I simply am not there.
I have all the characteristics of a human being: blood, flesh, skin, hair; but not a single, clear, identifiable emotion, except for greed and disgust. Something horrible is happening inside of me and I don't know why. My nightly bloodlust has overflown into my days. I feel lethal, on the verge of frenzy. I think my mask of sanity is about to slip.
The things we strive for, that abstract of success, the clear cut direction I try to take... Those are the things I should leave behind. The things I want, are layed out before me, yet I never seem to be able to grasp them. Just as I get close the vision tends to blur and I am left with my own self. I have grown used to this feeling of wanting something that is so close but still out of reach. This is endless. There is so much there to give...
There are no more barriers to cross. All I have in common with the uncontrollable and the insane, the vicious and the evil, all the mayhem I have caused and my utter indifference toward it I have now surpassed. I want no one to escape, but even after admitting this there is no catharsis, my punishment continues to elude me and I gain no deeper knowledge of myself; no new knowledge can be extracted from my telling. This confession has meant nothing.
