I componenti fuoriescono da band della scena punk-hardcore e dintorni degli anni ’90 come The U-Goes, The Sheeps, Ingegno e Ouzo. Dopo l’EP “The Outstanding Tale Of Buzz Aldrin” del 2009, velocemente esaurito durante le primissime date, nell’estate del 2010 hanno realizzato il primo full-length album “La Roque”. Il genere degli Aldrin non è facilmente classificabile. Le influenze spaziano dai Mogwai a Ritorno al Futuro, dai Fugazi al cubo di Rubik, dai Karate a La Storia Infinita, passando per gli At The Drive In e Star Wars.

Why: Quelque 7000 personnes ont défilé à Bruxelles en une « Protestparade diversifiée et créative » pour faire entendre au gouvernement Michel-De Wever quâil existe une alternative à leur politique dâaustérité de droite. « Nous ne nous arrêterons pas avant que ce gouvernement de droite retire ses mesures antisociales », a déclaré Peter Mertens, le président du PTB, dans son discours aux participants.

Life is full of miracles, part two. This set of photos is from a hard disk which was totally broken but suddenly started a new life after being buried in my cupboard for a couple of years. Today it has had serious problems again - so I got a little bit smart idea to upload the rest here... (The order seems to be random or something close to it.)
The camera used in this series is most propably Canon F1, Canon EOS 650 or Minox 35GT. Films are mostly of Whatsoever brand and the films were scanned and burnt on CDs by the developing company (which is totally responsible for the logical names of the photos.) Photoshops or alike are so totally unknown in this series...
Elämä on täynnä ihmeitä, osa kaksi. Tässä kuvasarjassa olevat kuvat talletin kovalevylle, joka pian sen jälkeen heitti henkensä. Pari vuotta levy oli hautautuneena kaappiin ja käynnistyi nyt kuin uudestisyntyneenä.
Tänään levy on jälleen osoittanut uupumisen merkkejä, joten päätin olla fiksu ja pruutata loput kuvat säilöön tänne. (Kuvat näyttävät olevan satunnaisessa tai sentapaisessa järjestyksessä.)

ManiFiesta :: 7.500 mensen samen voor solidariteit in BredeneManiFiesta, een organisatie van Geneeskunde voor het Volk en uw weekblad Solidair, is in een feestelijke sfeer uitgegroeid tot een groot succes met 7.500 mensen. ManiFiesta-directeur Rik Vermeersch: “Al die mensen uit Vlaanderen, Brussel en Wallonië hebben elkaar hier in Bredene gevonden omdat ze dezelfde taal spreken: de taal van de solidariteit.”
ManiFiesta :: 7.500 personnes rassemblées à Bredene pour la solidaritéManiFiesta s’est déroulée ce samedi 24 septembre dans une ambiance festive, et a été un très grand succès. Rik Vermeersch, le responsable de l’événement, a déclaré : « Tous ces participants venus de Wallonie, de Flandre et de Bruxelles se sont déplacés pour cette grande fête parce qu’ils parlent la même langue : la langue de la solidarité. Tout le monde a apprécié l’intérêt et la richesse des débats, les concerts, les stands et le programme culturel. Ce grand nombre de participants est un signe du potentiel grandissant de la gauche d’aujourd’hui. »

Every now and then I have needed a solution to use several cameras. Situation have been for instance in comparison cameras/objectives.
Yesterday I planned to go out and shoot fireworks in the city. Normally it is a session of a few minutes only. Using exposure times like 20 or 30 seconds means so a few photos only. I decided to make a tool to use several cameras parallel ontop of a single tripod.
Unfortunately the Heavens decided to give rain and headache to me. So no test photos, sorry.
