Thank you Michelle (Chatdurouge) for this wonderful surprise!!! I got this surprise package in the mail this weekend and found all these lovely things inside for the kitties, Holly and me. I thank you for your wonderful friendship. I took a photo of Jewel wearing the crown and have another one of Pearl checking out the loot. Pearl took two of the mice right out of the box before I could even unpack it. LOL! One has disappeared. I think Barclay helped him a little.

Yea, this shirt comes with some cool meat stickers. Pardon me, gonna plaster these on a vegan's car (it'll be a sh-tbox anyways)...

"No Matter Where You Go, There You Are."

This item is a true curiosity, and something I kind of wanted, having grown up watching the film, seeing the ad for it on the back of comic books I collected, eventually owning the super-cool special edition DVD release MGM put out, and now, this Enhanced CD, which I gather is about 11 years old, if I deciphered the CD label properly, corresponding to a burn date of August 17, 1999 at around 10:21 AM somewhere.

26 tracks, including dialogue snippets, the key pieces of music from the film, film transcripts, links to online fansites and reviews (Don't know if all the links work. ^_^;), dialogue and sound effects files, pictures from the film, of the cast, scans of promo materials, scenes from the film (including some that were probably featured in the bonus scenes on the official DVD release)

Good fun, for a somewhat affordable price, thanks to the efforts of some unknown members of the Blue Blaze Irregulars, and based upon declassified information from the Banzai Institute for Biomedical Engineering and Strategic Information. ^_^

I spotted this out of box in their living room. This is one of two my brother-in-law has from the Star Wars Power Of The Force collection. I had to get ahold of it.

Surprisingly, when he called up to sis, and she discussed it with him, he agreed that I could take it home with me. ^_^;

I took a couple other pictures, and I might try to cut out the background, and overlay this with a blurred forest effect background at a later date.

Newspapers had a nice run and all but it appears that they're time of delivering news to the world is almost over. The concept of actually reading the news simply can't compete with hot female news anchors reading it to us and nobody thinks Garfield is funny anymore. And seriously ... who uses coupons?

Our friend and neighbor Maryann had a birthday yesterday. Happy Birthday Maryann! I'm very glad you were born!

Maryann is my next door neighbor's mom, and the mom to the neighborhood, people and animals alike. Her husband Ben, built our house back in the 70's. He's about 93 or so now. The entire family is very artistic and creative. Our neighbor is a graphic artist.

Maryann likes collecting beautiful and interesting things, but she's not one of those out of control people. Most of what she has is from garage sales, etc. and she enjoys getting a bargain.

I like the way she has displayed these shells standing at different angles. It's a very Florida collection. =o)

Hugs and thanks for viewing!

I've been a fan of the designer Luigi Colani for thirty years. These gorgeous little models of his sports car designs came out in the 1980s.

I came by these wonderful old B & W photos by way of my aunt. She was at a Scrap Booking convention/ retreat in the Red Woods of northern Calif. This woman sitting at the same table as my aunt, threw out three old photo albums full of family photos & post cards from the late 1800s to the early 1900s. The lady said the albums once belonged to her mother in law and since she didn't know the people in the photos she tossed the albums in the trash. My aunt later went dumpster diving and initially gave me one album and she kept the other two, then had a change of mind and gave me the other two albums.

You don't have to know the people to enjoy the photos. Well just like the old sayings go, "A picture is worth a 1000 words", or "One man's trash is another man's treasure"

Hey I could use a little help. If you recognize people or places or vehicles please speak up, add your comments please.

Saturday night on my way to the Eagle to husband hunt I walked along West 28th Street where I first landed in New York City. (Strangely enough that apartment also had a bad pink paint job AND lots of fluorescent lighting *cringe*.)

That area has changed SO MUCH since May 1999.

Not for the better in my opinion. It used to be VERY seedy and LOTS of *a-hem* underground activities. Right on that block. Plus a really fierce record store called DownTown Records.

I saw a sign on the building where I lived: For Sale - Great Development Opportunity.

That's life. New York is constantly changing.

My son built this car 22 yrs ago

when he was 13 yrs old. I liked his work so he gave it to me . Its
