Encountered growing on the beach in Palos Verdes, CA. Does anyone know what plant this is?

This decorated wall of the Beat Museum building in San Francisco spans for almost one city block. It has succumbed to some vandalism for such an expansive display, but the art itself remains uncompromised.

Finished another photoshop assignment for class, maybe should have cropped it.

The sunlight glints on the base of a large, shallow copper cooling tank. Apparently these aren't used any more, but the copper sure looks good.

The weather here was super hot the end of June and my kids were starting to go crazy being in the house. We found that one of our eavestroughs is leaking and went out to look. My kids went crazy jumping around playing with the water to cool down. These are my daughter's hands trying to catch the raindrops. :)
