seems some space warp has become manifest in one of my self portraits....
update: the last few weeks have been heavy on me -- I look this way in real life now....
2nd update: It's even worse today (2012) -- the hair on top is gone ;-)

no time to take new pictures -- you'll have to make do with the old ones...
Duke's Dock, Liverpool.
It's going to be up in the 80s AGAIN tomorrow!
Over the last few days it's been hotter in London than it has been in Athens [Greece] and Miami [Florida].

This guy had just run the marathon, and was sitting near us. At one point he couldn't resist taking his shoes off and resting a foot on another stool. I didn't see any blisters, though!
This doll caught my eye in town, pretty cool...hope it's not real fur though, then it's not cool...
I like the style ;)
Reflection from street too.
When I looked inside, saw two more dolls in cool set up.

On Friday, February 7, 2014, high school and middle school students dashed into the icy Atlantic as part of Special Olympics Virginia’s largest fundraiser: The Polar Plunge and the Cool School Challenge.
“Raising one million dollars for the fourth year in a row is incredible,” said Rick Jeffrey, Special Olympics Virginia president. “More importantly, though, these funds will help us to build bigger, better, more inclusive communities across the state of Virginia.”
In addition to the money raised, they got to take the icy dip into the Atlantic, all while earning a Friday “pass” from school, earn community service credit, Costume contests – prizes for best dressed male and female, prizes for teacher or team sponsor, and freezing photos.

Asphalt needs to cool another 20 or so degrees before quality control testing can be done.
The first layer of asphalt is being compacted on North Road in August 2012 as part of the Evergreen Line Rapid Transit Project.
Work to widen North Road to add a permanent lane on the west side continues near Lougheed Town Centre Mall. The new lane will help minimize traffic disruption during guideway construction. After construction is complete, the new lane will replace the lane taken up by the guideway.
December 26th is a working day for most Americans, which added to a cool start to the day has meant an empty beach at Redington Shores FL.
Day 316 of 365 - Landing
As part of Veterans day celebrations this week at the place where I work they had three military helicopters land in a field on the property. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get outside to take the shot and I was stuck using a cheap zoom (my good 70-200 was at home as I don't usually cart it back and forth to work with me). So this is through a dirty window with an average lens. That said the subject is interesting so I am posting it for my photo of the day today.
Edit: Thanks James for the ID
If anyone knows what kind of helicopter this is please feel free to tag it or comment with the name so I can tag it.
Thanks to some pretty cool people and having a few years of experience under my belt I get to shoot some pretty cool shit... One of those things I absolutely will not miss is the annual Desert Storm event held in Lake Havasu, Arizona. If you've never been there's no point in trying to explain how much fun this is but if you've been and are familiar with it there's once again no point in trying to explain... ;)
Anyway, it's all about boats, beauty boobs chaos and frivolity.
Now, I've been married for almost 25 years and I love all of those (previously mentioned) things...
That said I keep all of that extra curricular activity in check while searching for fun and interesting content.
This photo was taken after an already looong day on the water and is an excellent example of what life is like along the Colorado River...
This woman is the epitome of the river life style, she's having a great time, she's hot and completely comfortable in her own skin. Her man next to her is as cool as the other side of the pillow as he chills with a cold one enjoying the day.
