Zo'n pick-up is niet alleen handig door zijn grote laadbak waar je alles in kan gooien, deze zowat klassieke pick-ups zijn nog cool ook. Bovenstaand model is een oude Toyota Hilux, volgeladen met aardappelen.

A pick-up is not only very functional because of its large cargo body where you can throw everything in. These almost classic pick-ups are pretty cool too! The model above is an old Toyota Hilux, fully loaded with potatoes.

This fountain sits in a bowl, its water spraying with varying degrees of force and at different intervals. Kids flock to it like a bug to a windshield. Until looking at this photo, it never occurred to me how many different ways there are to get soaked.

A storekeeper said I could have this and I thought it would be a cool brush holder---but alas it has a hole in bottom where pencils etc can slip out so it has lost it's use to me---I quit smoking 17 years ago---and surly can't
imagine smoking one of these really strong cigarettes...I quit cold turkey, because I thought I'd be dead in a week if I didn't. ....that's what it took to make me quit....
P S No one should " walk a mile for a Camel"..nowadays :-)

On Friday, February 7, 2014, high school and middle school students dashed into the icy Atlantic as part of Special Olympics Virginia’s largest fundraiser: The Polar Plunge and the Cool School Challenge.
“Raising one million dollars for the fourth year in a row is incredible,” said Rick Jeffrey, Special Olympics Virginia president. “More importantly, though, these funds will help us to build bigger, better, more inclusive communities across the state of Virginia.”
In addition to the money raised, they got to take the icy dip into the Atlantic, all while earning a Friday “pass” from school, earn community service credit, Costume contests – prizes for best dressed male and female, prizes for teacher or team sponsor, and freezing photos.

My wife and I spent time walking around Santa Fe on a cold, brisk afternoon in the middle of March 2016. Interesting stores to check out - what impressed us was how colorful everything was. I don't think we bought anything but it was fun looking.

Club Cool (formerly Ice Station Cool) is an attraction located in the Innoventions West Pavilion at Epcot at the Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, that allows people to cool off and sample complimentary Coca-Cola soft drinks from around the world. It is similar to the World of Coca-Cola's tasting area in Atlanta, Georgia, although the latter boasts a larger selection of products to taste (including both foreign and U.S. beverages). The gift shop at Club Cool also offers Coca-Cola merchandise for purchase.

When operational, the interior of these tall hollow cooling towers is honeycombed with a network of pipes and a spray system for venting the steam. After condensation, the water was recycled for return to the nearby river or re-used for industrial processes after it had played its part in driving the turbines. The horizontal concrete bars at the top of this shot are known as 'cooling baffles', and there are many thousands of them radiating out from the centre of the structure.
While I may not be quite well-off or cool enough to live over there, I am very glad the Hawthorne and Belmont areas exist. Very glad. As a society, we need a part of town where people regularly scratch messages of political protest into summer squash and then let them grow to massive proportions. Really, we need this.
And yes, my country has been very bad. Let me just say, for the record, that I am very sorry. I'll keep trying to do what I can.
