With the blue end leading, 88010 in it's new livery sweeps by Abington loops with 4Z75 Mossend Euroterminal - Daventry. This working was running as such due to the national railway strike.

The waters at Bukal Falls in Majayjay, Laguna originate from the streams at Mt. Banahaw. These waters are cool and clear. Visitors can even refill their drinking bottles at a pipe used to bring down water from a water source higher up.
With the early morning temperature below zero, DRS Class 88 No. 88010 in the appropriate 'Keeping it COOL' livery passes Stableford between Norton Bridge and Crewe with 4S43, the 06:25 Daventry – Mossend Tesco intermodal on 15th February 2023.

This Rivercat is 'Nicole Livingstone'. Nicole Livingstone was an Australlian swimmer who I had not actually ever heard of before seeing this Rivercat and 'Googling' the name. So she cannot have been too famous, lol. But anyway, they named a Rivercat after her.

A photo taken last Saturday of our local bison trying to stay cool by a large pond at Jester Park in Polk County, Iowa. In 1870, the last pair of wild bison were spotted just west of Spirit Lake, Iowa. Now, this is one of the few captive herds scattered around the state.

The forest is a rich green in early summer around Cucumber Falls in Pennsylvania's Laurel Highlands. It really is a delightful, peaceful setting to walk your dog or play in the water.
... at Taytay Falls, Majayjay, Laguna, Philippines. Summer was almost over when I shot this frame but it was still warm enough to get a lot of people to cool down at this waterfall. Had to wait for a while until most of the crowd left the frame but there was one group at the right side of the photo that just won't leave.

It's a chilly winter's afternoon in Oconomowoc, as this Soo Line eastbound kicks up the powder snow by the historic crossing tower at Silver Lake Street. In todays world, the tower, westbound main and all but one lineside customer have vanished from Cooney.

... enjoying her noon nap at the couch downstairs. She like to go out more now when the spring is near - not for so long but a couple of minutes now and then daily. We have had spring-like weather for a couple of days by now.
Supposed to be one of he hottest days of the year in the Northwest. I'm hoping a little wishful thinking will help beat the heat.
