The BL order never arrived... :( So I bought Jacob Kowalski, and now waiting for another Jacob to arrive from my local BL seller. I'm not sure whether to use the white cookies or the normal ones... Which one do you prefer? I wanted it to match the signboard...

This is one of the cookies from my entry this year for the 2009 Capital Confectioner's Sugar Art Show in Austin, Texas. The set placed 1st in my division.
It's French food day again in my daughter's French class. I quickly put these together - broke out the edible markers and used the left over colors I had from the latest rounds of cookies. I probably should have had Marlyn proofread these since she found a few grammatical errors on last years tray! It's all French to me!
You know what happens when you forget to line your baking sheet with parchment paper? the cookies stick, break and you end up with only 2 :)) I made them with leftover dough, so I guess they were not meant to exist anyway!
While we're trying to limit overindulging in cookies, fudge and puppy chow, we love treats without sweets... love the homemade gifts with ethnic flare in our amazing circle of friends.

My flickr postings have become very infrequent, because it seems any interest in the photos is quite slim. I have enjoyed sharing my work on Flickr for several years, and cherish the relationships and inspiration I have found here. I will guess that since I now link my photos to my blog, that people may be following the link and viewing the photos there (which is great). Let me know if there are those of you who prefer for some reason to still see photos from me here on Flickr, or if you have found your way to the blog.
