Rainbow cookies from Viniero's. They are sooo good, but they are not really rainbows! Who thinks that a rainbow is pink-yellow-green? I am determined to make some REAL rainbow cookies. I hope they will taste nearly as good as these.
Yay! 100 days of 365!

I used a variety of cookie cutters as I tried to make some "cogwheel" sugar cookies. However the sharpness of the cookie cutters was lost when the sugar cookies spread in the heat of the oven.
Q342 rolls under the bridge at South Deshler with an Ex-CR cookie thumper leading the charge. If I remember correctly this train was over 13,000 feet long that day.
Although Cookie is wary of everyone but me, he somehow liked my mother. I guess the fact that she was leaving him alone, not being super fond of dogs, made him wonder what the check was wrong with her, not trying to get his attention :P. He would sit at a safe distance and just watch her, quietly.
This picture dates from 2014. Our house in Normandy was full of sick and senior dogs since I was running a rescue sanctuary by myself (my hubby putting up with everything). My mom did not fully understand my devotion, but still came to visit several times a year, since I just couldn't travel anymore. I miss those times.

I've just taken all the odd photos off of my phone and found that they go back a few months and include many I had forgotten about. I decided to post a few despite being so far past when they were taken.
Proof that it's not only tiny Wolfie who loves cookies!!!
I learned something today. I need to work on lighting with the straight up and down shots. I like this shot but there is missing information for any pixel peepers out there.
The best Christmas Cookies ever! Made usually in Germany and I got them through Etsy again from Germany but late this year. Still they came, as well as a few in a gift package a few days ago. I used to make my own, if you check back amongst. my photos you will see them, but t hey are a lot of work and this time I purchased them. They are almost all gone because they are so delicious.
NB: Surprise of Surprises! Today I got 2 more smaller boxes and 1 larger box again, for free, from Germany, of these same cookies. How very kind of them and I will be able to share some with my twin sister who is still in hospital and a German friend we both worked with who lives close by and helps out in driving us if we have to go somewhere! She is a very kind friend!

A true crowd pleaser.
Depending on who is in the crowd, of course.

I made this cookie tray for my daughter's French class!! They left quite an impression on the teacher and were the talk of the school!!
Rubber stamped Iced biscuits - made using a Cavallini & co. stamp set and an edible ' ink pad' - stamp pad felt ( a Ranger Ink 8"x 10" cut n dry stamp pad felt costs about £4.50 and will make loads of pads! ) soaked in sugarflair colouring diluted with Culpitts dipping solution ( food grade isopropyl alcohol ).
The image doesn't always turn out perfect , so that's when I use an edible pen to add detail.
the stamping works really well on rice paper too!
